Daniel Koster

Daniel Koster, PsyD

Dr. Daniel Koster completed his Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at Loyola University Maryland in 2017. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship with the Department of Veterans Affairs. He specializes in delivery of evidence-based treatments for depression, anxiety, PTSD and other conditions. He finds great joy in utilizing Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) to support clients in coping with and adjusting to major life transitions, interpersonal challenges, and grief.  Dr. Koster holds dearly that effective psychotherapy can and should awaken new possibilities, promote a depth of both self-understanding and self-acceptance, and ultimately help individuals lead value-consistent lives.

Outside of the office, Dr. Koster can be found running, cooking, building Lego with family members, and trying (unsuccessfully) to stop his cat Loki from eating all the house plants.
